Merchandise Description
This listing is for one (1) Strattec brand GM ignition lock cylinder with 2 GM logo keys. This lock is already assembled...just as pictured and described.
 
The keys are transponder electronic keys and must be programmed at the vehicle to the vehicle's computer. In most situations you can do this yourself...see programming instructions below.
 
Installing this lock requires programming of the electronic transponder keys. We can provide a copy of the programming procedure, but the programming is then entirely up to you the customer...we do not provide any troubleshooting technical support. If all aspects of your car's main systems are in good working order, then programming of the keys is not usually a problem..
 
If you have questions, please ask BEFORE buying....include the exact year, make, and model.

Extra Services & Programming
This lock comes with two keys. For an extra fee of $19.00 per key, we can provide additional/extra keys for this lock cut on original GM logo chip key blanks.
 
If you decide to buy and want any extra services, complete the transaction on the lock, but remember to send a message reminding us of the extra services needed. Contact must be made immediately after buying or the lock will be shipped as is/as described.
 
Below is the on-board programming procedure.
 
Originate New Key: When zero working keys exist (all keys lost).
1. Insert new working key into ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON (RUN) position. The theft light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten minutes.
2. When the theft light goes out, repeat the same procedure as in step #1, two more times.
3. When the theft light goes out, the new key has been programmed.To program a second key (follow-up on above procedure).
1. Within 20 seconds of completing the last step for the first key, insert a second key and turn to the ON position. When the light goes out, the new key is programmed.

We have chosen to use U.S. Postal Service, because on most of our small lightweight packages, it seems to be the less expensive option.
 
Returns
Below is our ''general'' return policy for those situations where you decide that you don't need the item OR if you misread the description or compatibility chart and mistakenly bought the wrong item.
 
Refunds will be given under the following conditions: Email request for refund must be received within 30 days of receipt of item. Item must be returned uninstalled, undamaged, complete, and preferably in the original undamaged packaging. Buyer pays for original shipping and return shipping.
 
If you receive an item which is not as described OR receive an item which is broken/faulty...in those situations we will take care of you 100%.

Credit & debit cards accepted and processed by Paypal. A Paypal account is NOT required. Use your card same as you would anywhere you make an online purchase.
